Abbey, my female cat unknown, has diarrhea

I recently took my cat, Abbey, to the vet as she was licking bald spots on herself. She has done this before and my usual vet suspected it was allergies then and now. She was given steroids and a spray to calm the itching and the problem resolved itself last time. However, this time she was throwing up the licked hair in hair balls as well, so he gave us Laxatone. I only gave her one dose and the next morning, she was having diarrhea and unable to make it to the litter box. It's been two days of this diarrhea and I was wondering if there was anything I can do to help relieve it, or if not, how long will it take for the Laxatone to work its way out?

Hello,

Over use of laxatone can cause diarrhea and malnutrition. My advice is to finish the treatment and go to the veterinary clinic.

I apologise for answering late. Yours faithfully
