Cat Charlie

I have a question about Charlie, my female cat mixed

Hi my kitten is 10 months old and she seems to be meowing for no reason constantly, she isn't on heat as it's a complete different behaviour. She is also very nervous and will attack if u try and stroke her or tell her off. I don't know what is causing both of these things. Any suggestions?

It could be that your cat is showing the sings of heat. Sometimes the owners cannot detected if their cats are on heat but it doesn't mean it isn't there, and more because of her age since it is a characteristic period of time.

It could also be either a chronic pain which is causing your cat to be more reactive and meow more often, or some situation of stress.

You should take Charlie to the vet for a general examination and assessment.

All the best for you and Charlie.
