Dog Cara

I have a question about Cara, my female dog mixed

I have found a young puppy in a box next to the trash in my neighborhood. I would like to adopt her but I don't know what step to take to register her (passeport) and check her vaccination etc.. I am also wondering if there are any procedure in order to officially adopt her or if it's enough to bring her to the vet to register and vaccinate her on my name.

Hope you can help me answer these questions,
In any case thanks ver, much

Good afternoon, if the dog found it abandoned and it is not found anywhere, it is not necessary to carry out the adoption officially. If it is very small, it probably does not have a chip, but this would be the first step to take, for which you should take it to the veterinarian. If it is confirmed that you do not have a chip, you can proceed to do everything necessary to take it home: general review, deworming and, a week later, start with the first vaccines. In the clinic they will inform you better about the steps and times to follow, as well as when to issue the passport and register it in your name. Congratulations for saving a life and wanting to share it with you.
