Rodent Billy & Kaz

Billy & Kaz, my male rodent guinea pig, has wounds

I have four guinea pigs and recently we have discovered 2 of them have severe wounds, which we think is from a cat bite. (we have obviously moved the cat away and been watching way more closely. will be doing more to prevent her from even reaching them*) but, one of the guinea pig's wound is open. we can see what appears to be teeth marks. it has puss all around. the other guinea pig's wound seems to be scabbed over but it's still hurting him. what can I do/use to clean it? we do plan on taking them to a vet but the ones where I live all ask for the money up front and we don't have it. they need to be cared for as soon as possible. we have no idea how long they have had it. we didn't even know she was getting to them! please please help!!

You should clean the wounds with clean water.Dry very well the wounds, and after that, put clorhexidine antiseptic on the wounds. You can do it at least twice a day..

Kind regards
