Vomiting in the cat can be caused by many things, in adult cats the most probable cause is a change of hair and ingesting it more than normal. In kittens it could be something more severe, since the kitten can get quickly unbalanced and dehydrate.

Due to your cat's age, you should visit a veterinarian to determine the cause of the vomiting and act accordingly.
