Pigeon, my male bird unknown, has lump on the eye

I have found a pigeon three days ago that, one of his eyes is infected. There was a lump on his eye. I take away the lump and then, pusses from around his eye by flushing several times with saline solution. Until now, I have used sulfonamide 10% eyedrop (3 times a day 1 drop) and doxycycline (5mg orally once a day). But as you can see in the photos, that eye still has not recovered. The infected eye is full of blood and he can't see with it. I'm going to take him to a vet before I release him but what is your suggestion? Thank you

It might be "coryza" but I am not sure completely because you has not told anything about respiratory problems.
Please, wash your hands after touching your pigneon because I am not sure if the pigeon could have a zoonoses disease.
Your vet will said to you the diagnosis when the vet can do it a good examination.
Enrofloxacin antibiotic might help better than doxycyline in this case.

Kind regards
